Policies & Handbook

If academic, attendance, and/or behavior problems should arise, parents will be contacted for a conference to help immediately eliminate any problems. Parents may be asked to withdraw their child from the center that day if necessary.

For the health of all children, please keep your child home (or we will call for pick-up) for any of the following:

• Temperature of 101°F or higher
• Conjunctivitis (pink eye) — must be treated with antibiotics for at least 24 hours; a doctor's note is required to return
• Rashes we cannot identify or that have not been diagnosed by a physician
• Diarrhea — child must be free of diarrhea for 24 hours before returning
• Ringworm — a doctor's note is required before returning
• Vomiting
• Contagious diseases (chicken pox, measles, mumps, roseola, strep throat, etc.) — a doctor's note is required stating when your child may return

All parents are required by the State of Georgia to have current immunization forms completed before your child will be allowed to attend.

Daily shirt colors:

Pants: Khaki, black, or navy cotton twill only.   Shoes: all black or all brown — no other visible colors.

Parents are required to bring a clean blanket each Monday; every Friday the blanket goes home for cleaning. Your child will also need a weather-appropriate change of clothes and undergarments.

For birthday parties and special events, parents are asked to bring store-bought items. Angels Academy must be able to read all ingredients on any items brought from home.

Ages served: 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Angels Academy will be closed in observance of: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following day, and Christmas Day and the following day — plus five optional days.

For security and to prevent disruption of the educational process, classroom visits are permitted only with proper administrative approval. All visitors must show proper identification before entering the center.

The registration fee is $100.00, due before the child's first day; it holds your child's slot until their first day.

All payments must be placed in the tuition drop box located at the entrance of the center. No payments should be left on the receptionist's desk or handed to any staff member.
